House of Cheviot Kilt Hose

Machine washable in cool water on the gentle/delicate cycle.  Allow to air dry.

Merino/Acrylic 85%, Nylon 10%, Lycra 5%

Glencoe:

Glencoe  hose are affordable, comfortable, and exhibit the quality you expect from the House of Cheviot.  Made with a 3ply Merino wool blend, they have a slightly looser knit than our other hose, making them cooler to wear.  They feature a subtle mock-cable stitch top.  

Glenmore:

Classic kilt hose design with mock cable and moss stitch top. Made from Merino Wool and Acrylic 50/50 blend. Fully reinforced foot area for comfort and durability.

The ancient (light) green version is more suited to Pathfinders and Rover Squires, as the dark green garter tabs show up better than with the tartan (dark) green hose.

Harris:

Fully seam free kilt hose, allowing a much better fit for those with larger calves.  While these hose work perfectly well for men with average sized calves, the natural stretch of the material allows them to fit calves up to 26" in circumference!  Ribbed leg and a subtle cable pattern cuff.  The Harris hose are made from a 3ply Merino wool/acrylic blend.  They are made with a fully reinforced foot, which not only adds to the comfort when wearing, but signifigantly extends the life of the hose.  Most socks wear out first in the heel and toe; the reinforced foot helps keep wear and tear at bay, making these hose a smart investment.

Pipe Band:

A popular style not only among pipers, but also anyone who wears the kilt!  The extra long tops on these hose are designed to be folded over multiple times, allowing you to adjust the height of the hose precisely where you want it, and also making the cuff a bit thicker than standard hose.  These hose are made from a 3ply Merino wool/acrylic blend and feature a fully reinforced foot, which not only adds to the comfort when wearing, but significantly extends the life of the hose.  Most socks wear out first in the heel and toe; the reinforced foot helps keep wear and tear at bay, making these hose a smart investment. Fits calf sizes up to 19".
